These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all sales between the Seller and any individual or legal entity (hereinafter “the Customer”) placing an order on the website Casbalova.com, in France or abroad.
Any order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The products offered for sale are handcrafted items created through collaborations from around the world: home décor, textiles, and accessories.
Each piece is unique or produced in small batches. Variations in color, shape, or size may occur and are part of the artisanal character of the items — not considered defects.
Product photos are as accurate as possible but may not perfectly represent the actual item.
Prices are indicated in euros (€), including all taxes (VAT included).
Shipping costs are displayed before order confirmation.
For orders outside the European Union, customs duties or local taxes may apply — these remain the responsibility of the Customer.
The Seller reserves the right to modify prices at any time. Products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
Validating an order implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
An order summary is sent by email.
The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of payment issues, previous disputes, or suspected fraud.
Payments are secure and may be made via credit card, PayPal, or any other method offered on the website.
An order is considered final once full payment has been received.
Products are shipped to the address provided by the Customer.
Estimated delivery times:
France: 3 to 7 business days
Europe: 5 to 10 business days
Rest of the world: 7 to 21 business days
Delivery fees are specified during checkout. The Seller cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.
If the selected delivery point is unavailable, the order will be sent to the nearest available pick-up location.
An email containing the tracking information is sent by La Poste, Packlink, or Mondial Relay. The Customer is responsible for checking spam folders if necessary.
Casbalova cannot be held liable for delivery delays, loss, or theft caused by carriers or strikes. The Customer must contact the carrier directly in such cases.
If a parcel is returned due to non-collection, it will not be reshipped or refunded.
Any delivery issue (missing item, wrong reference, etc.) must be reported on the day of delivery or within 24 hoursby email to contact@casbalova.com.
If a package arrives damaged, the Customer must open it in the carrier’s presence, note any issues, and refuse delivery if necessary.
Casbalova will not issue refunds or exchanges for items damaged during transport — claims must be made directly with the carrier.
If the parcel is accepted despite visible damage, Casbalova will not be responsible for any subsequent claim.
No refund will be issued for fragile items broken when the Customer chooses Mondial Relay instead of Colissimoshipping.
Casbalova may request the return of defective products; return shipping costs are covered by the Customer unless Casbalova is at fault.
All products are handmade and may have minor irregularities that are part of their uniqueness. These are not considered defects.
Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings.
Casbalova is not responsible for the misuse or mishandling of any item. Customers are advised to handle all products carefully and contact a professional cleaner when necessary.
For international orders, please contact us prior to purchase — additional taxes or duties may apply.
If a fragile product requires Colissimo with insurance and the Customer selects another option, the Customer will be asked to cover the difference. If the order is canceled as a result, bank transaction fees will not be refunded.
If the Customer fails to collect the order within 30 days of notification, the sale will be automatically canceled, and the payment retained by the Seller.
In accordance with European law, the Customer has 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without providing justification or incurring penalties.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer. Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, within 14 days after notifying Casbalova of the decision to withdraw.
Custom or made-to-order items are not eligible for return or refund, except in the case of a confirmed defect.
Returned items showing signs of use will not be refunded.
Once the return is received and inspected, Casbalova will issue a refund for the item(s), excluding shipping fees.
Actual shipping costs may be deducted from the refund; a breakdown can be requested within 48 hours after the refund.
All returns must be shipped with tracking and signature confirmation.
Cleaning or disinfection fees may apply to returns of textiles or rugs received more than 24 hours after delivery, depending on the product.
Handcrafted items may have natural imperfections; vintage or antique items may show signs of age or wear — these do not constitute defects and cannot justify a return.
Casbalova is not responsible for color variations due to screen differences.
The Customer benefits from the legal guarantees:
Conformity Guarantee (Articles L.217-3 to L.217-20 of the French Consumer Code)
Hidden Defects Guarantee (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code)
In case of a defective or non-conforming product, the Customer must contact the Seller within a reasonable time.
The Seller cannot be held liable for indirect damages, data loss, or harm resulting from use of the website or products purchased.
The Seller’s liability is limited to the total amount of the order.
All content on the website is protected by intellectual property rights.
Any total or partial reproduction is prohibited without written authorization.
Data collected is necessary for order processing.

In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has the right to free mediation for the amicable resolution of disputes.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
